Why you should build a Huckins

• Maneuverability - what sets her apart is how she handles at others speeds. Because she is light and extremely stable, one can be at top speed and in extreme emergency can stop her dead in the water. She will not tip from side to side. Huckins is a design for comfort and ease.
• Low maintenance - Huckins are built to run and be used, not sit. Our yachts are beautiful and don't look like white plastic tennis shoes. Beauty, plus low maintenance. Perfect!
• Performance - She rides at a constant  3 1/2 degrees on plane without trim tabs and comes up on plane in 4 seconds. Handles all manner of seas allows those on board true confidence.
• Quadraconic Hull - She sips fuel, making her very fuel efficient and economical. The hull is made with the best technology and is strong, yet lightweight.
• Safety - Engineered to take pounding seas. This fiberglass core constructions creates a "I" beam construction which is much stronger and lighter than comparable solid fiberglass construction. Four watertight compartments create a large safety factor. If water intrudes thru and damages hose or seacock it does not shift to other compartments.
• Completely Custom - What we do; what we have always done is design and build custom yachts with the owners. Owners are proactive partners from the beginning. Our yachts are one of a kind.
• Made in America. Crafted in Jacksonville.
• Huckins has been building custom-yachts since 1928 and we have been building with fiberglass composite core construction for 40 years (initially AIREX^® and today Corecell™). We were also one of the first powerboat builders to do so.
