Heidi Speciale joined Safe Harbor Yacht Sales in June 2007 as Controller. Following the company’s partnership with Safe Harbor Marinas, she transitioned into her current role as Business Manager, where her deep background in accounting remains vital to the company’s success.

Heidi’s career at SHYS has been marked by her unwavering commitment to the team. In 2021, she received the Commitment to Excellence and Dedication Award, and in 2024, she was honored with the Jan Boone Memorial Award—a testament to her loyalty, work ethic, and determination.

Heidi has a wealth of accounting experience, which makes her a perfect match for her very demanding position here. Previously, she was the controller for Islamorada, a hugely popular retail store located in Emerald Isle, NC, and prior to that she served as the cash manager for John Hopkins Hospital-Wyman Park in Baltimore.

Heidi grew up on Long Island, NY, spending her summers on the beach at the Hamptons. Heidi graduated from Dowling College with a BA in Accounting. Heidi enjoys spending her free time with her family.
