The Eastport 32 OBX is developed from the Eastport 32 inboard diesel model and she inherits the classical lines from the Chesapeake Bay Deadrise, the waterman’s working vessel. Cruising comfortably at 33 knots and top speed of 40 knots with twin Yamaha 250HP engines, The Eastport32 OBX “Runs like it is on rails” with a deep V on entry and soft flare in the bow, a moderate aft deadrise angle of 12 degree’s with hard chines and lifting strakes for a dry, comfortable ride handling offshore waters and the Gulfstream yet capable of getting into really skinny water and fully beachable.
