2013 Delta Powerboats US 54’ Carbon factory demo direct from Sweden now available for sale. She has approx. 600hrs hours on triple Volvo 600’s with IPS drives. She features amazing performance and great efficiency (2,200 km at 7 knots and 700 km at 32 knots). In typical Swedish style, she utilizes every bit of space to the maximum potential. Complimenting her inherent stability is the M8000 SeaKeeper gyro stabilizer. While the vast majority of yachts benefit from the Seakeeper gyro until 12 or 13 knots, the 54’ Carbon receives this benefit until 22 knots when inertia has well taken over. Therefore, The 54 is a semi-custom yacht with time invested developing equipping each Delta 54 Carbon IPS individually, in close consultation with their prospective Owner's wishes. Designed for both long-range and day excursions, Delta builds the 54 Carbon IPS almost entirely in carbon fiber, making her the only mass-produced carbon fiber boat in the world. Yet, even semi-custom and built of exotic materials, she is class-competitive in price!
The responsive Volvo Penta IPS system ["Pod Drives"] means that this mini yacht - which measures more than 18 meters in overall length - can be operated with dinghy-precision via joysticks located at the helm and outside from either side of the aft deck. The system is intuitive and can be learned in all of 10 minutes for many.
The interior materials are dominated by satin hand-laid teak along with hand polished stainless steel fittings. The salon has two generous seating areas, one nearest the helm featuring a cocktail table, and one nearest the galley featuring a full-size dining table, and a fully equipped galley including gas or induction cooktop, speed oven/microwave, and dishwasher. Belowdecks accommodates three cabins with the owner's cabin at the fore, and two guest cabins to starboard and port side. All with en-suite bathroom, sound system, flatscreen TVs with DVD players, air conditioning and underfloor heating.
