Memories is a 2001 Beneteau Oceanis 361 with results to back up the sail plan. In 2022 Memories won the Spinnaker Division at the Governor’s Cup overnight race on the Chesapeake Bay, then came back in 2024 to finish second. Every line is led aft to the cockpit, the mainsail is in mast furling, and both the primary and cabintop winches are self tailing, so one person can reef, tack, and douse sail without leaving the wheel.
The owner has kept ahead of the maintenance rather than behind it. A Gori 3 blade folding propeller went on in 2024, the fuel pump was replaced in 2023, and the boat was hauled in 2025 specifically to replace the shaft seal diaphragm and refresh the bottom paint.
