Karen Monahan joined Safe Harbor Yacht Sales in January 2017, bringing with her extensive experience in the boating industry and a passion for guiding clients through the closing process with confidence. As Closing Manager, Karen plays a key role in developing and implementing procedures while managing and overseeing all aspects of the closing process.

Karen specializes in U.S. Coast Guard documentation and is known for her ability to navigate complex transactions with precision and efficiency. She works closely with buyers, sellers, lenders, and brokers to keep deals moving forward, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience from start to finish.

In an industry that is constantly evolving, Karen stays up to date on procedures and requirements to ensure every transaction is handled accurately and efficiently. She enjoys the fast-paced nature of her role, where no two deals are the same—each deal brings new scenarios, new challenges, and opportunities to continue learning and growing.

Karen currently resides in Cecil County, where she enjoys country living with her husband, four children, and two dogs. When not at work, she enjoys weekends at the beach, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
