This 2007 Sea Ray 40 Sundancer has been owned by the current owner since 2017. It has the highly desirable 425 HP Cummins QSB5.9 diesels with only 1080 hours. The Onan 9KW diesel generator only has 740 hours. The custom hydraulic platform was added by the current owner in 2020 for ease of storing the Avon rigid hull inflatable tender which is included in the sale.
When stepping into the large cockpit through the transom door located on the port side, there is a large U-shaped seating area to starboard with a removable table. Along the port side is a sink, storage cabinets and a refrigerator beneath it. There is also a removable TV for relaxing in the cockpit area. Forward of the seating area on the starboard side is the helm deck and helm with a single Captain's chair and bench seating just to port of the Captain's chair. The helm is fully equipped with a full electronics package including GPS Chartplotter, radar, autopilot and VHF radio in addition to engine gauges and controls. The entire cockpit area is enclosed on three sides by the hardtop, windshield and strataglass enclosure. The cockpit area has a dedicated air conditoning/heat unit for a more comfortable experience and removable indoor/outdoor carpeting. The entire cockpit deck raises electrically for access to the engines and bilges.
The cabin is entered through a door on the forward port side of the cockpit. The richly appointed cabin has dark wood cabinetry and the floor is carpeted. There is a large sofa on the starboard side with a removable table. The galley runs down the port side and features a cooktop, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, sink and granite counter top. There is also a flat screen TV that lowers electrically from the ceiling.
Forward of the galley on the port side is the entrance door to the head which includes a VacuFlush toilet, sink and vanity. There is also a private entrance to the head from the master stateroom located all the way forward. The separate shower compartment is located forward of the salon couch on the starboard side of the vessel.
The master stateroom is located all the way forward in the vessel and features a centerline bed with storage beneath as well as storage cabinets port and starboard. There is air conditioning/heat, TV, and a privacy door to the salon as well.
The aft stateroom is located aft of the salon and has an L shaped seating area that converts to a sleeping area. There is storage cabinetry and a privacy curtain to the main salon area.
This was very popular model for Sea Ray and is perfect for coastal cruising and extended overnight stays. The owner is no longer using the vessel and is motivated to sell. REDUCED $259,000!
